The convenience of ordering supplies online and having it shipped to your house is helpful. However, did you know that not all online pharmacies are created equal? Some purchase products from questionable sources and could put your pet in harm! For instance, the popular site, ChewyTM (and eight other companies) have received warnings from the FDA about selling or making unapproved antibiotics or antibiotic-containing products. We also found them compounding and selling a medication our reputable/professional compounding pharmacy said was too unstable to be be made. Therefore, our trust in these companies are much lower. We prefer to use trustworthy companies that are just as competitively priced as the popular ones.
